Goings on with the HCC
The Hartford Curling Club has been working hard in securing a curling location to throw some stones. We’re proud the have the outdoor venue, Crestwood Arena, host club curling matches during the season, and we are looking forward to finding a more permanent summer home to devote for weekly draws.
Currently we have been scouring the Greater Hartford area for ice rinks that would accommodate our group, and we have a couple promising leads that we will follow up on in the next couple weeks. Our goal is to have a venue set and materials secured so we can be on the ice next summer. In the meantime, fundraising and possibly Learn-to-Curl events for the community will help generate opportunities for the club.
